Using Thermoform Plastic Blisters to Increase Patient SafetyThere are several different types of packing methods used by pharmaceutical companies and thermoform plastic blisters are quickly becoming a very popular choice. One of the reasons why pharmaceutical manufacturers are using thermoform plastic blisters is that they help to reduce the number of dispensing errors that occur in retail pharmacies. This is because the medications do not have to be counted and placed in a different container, meaning that there is less chance that the pharmacist will dispense the wrong medication.
